Can a Smartphone be too smart?

Our current digital era is totally incomplete without a mobile device, especially a smartphone. Acting almost like a desktop, a smartphone enables us to perform various functions and searches as we would using a computer. We can manage websites, buy that latest sneakers, make dental appointments…and the list goes on. With a large percentage of consumers moving to make their purchases through their phone, it is no surprise that retail and commerce stores have jumped on this bandwagon to roll out store apps for consumer convenience. Because we depend so much on our smartphones these days, it is imperative that they come with as many features as possible so that it can be our one stop device. Move aside cameras, scanners, calendars, calculators and even desktops to a certain extent. The prices of smartphones also rise steadily because of the demand to streamline devices.
